Where did the ancient Sumerians pick up their mythology?
Q. Did the Sumerians have myth? and if they did was it from their predecessors hunters and gatherers or did it come from something more profound.

A. The same place everyone "Picks up" there myths legends and cultural base the 7-11. The Sumerians had a very rich culture-you can read all about it on Wikipedia or any other source for world history. They were the first literate culture for peat's sake!
